Narrative project took me and my photos to for adventure where my photos are telling the story for me.. The first one I took in Denver city park where a pair is enjoying a sunset, but there is one person who isn't really enjoying.....
In the second is late night and parents are fighting in the house. Their son in outside, cold and sad, but is happier outside that listening to his parents fight. |
In this project we practiced how to take jumping photo. When people are doing something different than just focusing on the photo (ex: jumping) the photo can show use who they really are. Shooting in continuous mode to capture as many in air photos as possible.
CAMERA SETTINGS: Shutter priority (Tv or S) ISO AUTO Continuous shooting mode |
Today we were blurring movement photos. Shooting in continuous mode with slow shutter speed makes the effect perfect. It needs a little bit of training to master this skill.
CAMERA SETTINGS: Mode: Shutter priority (Tv or S)

In this project we learned how to do panning. Photograph or televise while rotating a camera on its vertical or horizontal axis in order to keep a moving person or object in view or allow the film to record a panorama. We were changing shutter speed which depends on what object we were panning.
CAMERA SETTINGS: Shutter priority (Tv or S) car: start at 200 and move up from there bike: 30-60 and experiment ISO AUTO |
In this project we were taking photos of parts of subject and than we are going to put them together to make collage. The most important thing is not to move while you shooting and don't change the camera settings since you started shooting. It is fun to experiment with the final shape of the image.

In this activity, we were asked to set up our camera on auto and we shoot pictures of paper in different place, so we could see how our camera uses white balance. White balance can make the paper look blue, yellow, orange, and of course white. How to set up white balance that depends on what lighting we are at. This could be useful for taking photos of portraits, so you can make realistic skin color pictures or make some cool photos

.In this project we were shooting outdoor portraits with different rules of composition. Some of those photos went well, but since this was our first try of our outdoor portraits it was hard to communicate with the subject. Before every shoot you should think about your subject and the composition you use, because its hard to do it during the shoots.
